About Monkey Run
In Honor of Cruz Elias Manley
Our greatest desire is for Cruz’s story to change eternity and bring many souls to join him in Heaven. We have a feeling he’ll be the best tour guide once we get there. We can’t wait to see you again, Cruz Man.

So, what is Monkey Run?
We are so excited you asked! Monkey Run is a fun and family friendly run/walk comprised of 3 different race options, with the purpose of fundraising for the Manley Family through Eternal Surrender. Eternal Surrender is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that helps families who have lost a child. This is a great way for anyone to become involved in supporting the Manley family as well as the mission of Eternal Surrender! Come join in the monkeying around, make some monkey-tastic memories, and help raise funds for such an amazing local family.

Monkey Mile:
- 1 mile
- All ages welcome
- Not timed
- Monkey Magnificent!
Sleepy Monkey (Invisible Runner):
-Love the cause, but not so much the running? We even have an option for you! Register as a Sleepy Monkey (invisible) runner to have your shirt mailed directly to you - no running involved (unless you run to the mailbox of course!)
Monkey Run 5K:
- 5K (3.1 mi) Run or Walk
- Timed and untimed options
- All ages and skill levels welcome
- Monkey-Mazing experience!
Monkey Chase!:
-Think you can beat the Monkeys?!
Cross the finish line with at least one banana* and get a custom plaque! This monkeytastic event is for kids of all ages!!!
*Participants are given flag-football belts for bananas! The sneaky monkeys will try to get them as you pass by! NOTE: No actual chasing will occur, this is all for fun and a great cause!!!
Giving to the Cause
All proceeds from the Monkey Run - Lincoln event will be donated directly to the Manley Family. All donations are 100% tax-deductible.
Eternal Surrender is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization created to help families who have lost a child by offering financial assistance for final expenses, Bible studies, offering respite for the families on difficult anniversaries or birthdays, and with grief retreats.

Paul Michael, lovingly called "Monkey" by friends and family, was an astounding young man with a heart for everyone. He was a compassionate, caring, funny, Christ follower who passed away at 11 years old.
Let us run the race with endurance the race that is set before us.
