About Monkey Run
So, what is Monkey Run?
We are so excited you asked! Monkey Run is a fun and family friendly run/walk fundraiser for Eternal Surrender. Eternal Surrender is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that helps families who have lost a child. This is a great way for anyone to become involved in supporting the mission of Eternal Surrender! Come join in the monkeying around, make some monkey-tastic memories, and help raise funds for such an amazing organization.
Check out the different options below:
Monkey Mile Walk / Run:
- 1 mile
- All ages welcome
- Not timed
- Monkey Magnificent!
*NOTE* Must register by 3/22 to be guaranteed a shirt!
Monkey Run 5K Walk / Run:
- 5K (3.1 mi) Run or Walk
- All ages and skill levels welcome
- Monkey-Mazing experience!

Sleepy Monkey (Invisible Runner):
-Love the cause, but not so much the running?
We even have an option for you! Register as a Sleepy Monkey (invisible) runner to have your shirt mailed directly to you - no running involved (unless you run to the mailbox of course!)

Just Monkeyin' Around 0.5K:
-Look, we know not everyone wants to go the extra mile. Now you don't even have to do the first one! Come monkey around with us for a measly 1640 feet and, of course, no running! Walk, crawl, swing... just don't go bananas and start running! These silly monkeys will get a custom bumper sticker to display their 0.5K feat!
Giving to the Cause
What could make this event even better? To send the event proceeds to an organization who comes alongside families that have lost a child. That's exactly what your registration does. Thank you for joining us in supporting Eternal Surrender and this sensitive, but necessary mission.
Eternal Surrender is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization created to help families who have lost a child by offering financial assistance for final expenses, Bible studies, offering respite for the families on difficult anniversaries or birthdays, and with grief retreats.

Paul Michael, lovingly called "Monkey" by friends and family, was an astounding young man with a heart for everyone. He was a compassionate, caring, funny, Christ follower who passed away at 11 years old.
Let us run the race with endurance the race that is set before us.
